Featured is a Groat of Victoria, one of Britain's most iconic monarchs who defined an age. The Groat as a circulation issue (as opposed to a Maundy issue) was reintroduced during the reign of William IV after a 36 year hiatus, and continued into the reign of Victoria. It was last struck as a circulation issue for 1888, primarily for use in the colonies.
