Victoria Old Head
There were three main obverse types for Queen Victoria, the Old Head, sometimes called veiled or widow head, was introduced in 1893, and was used on all coins. It continued until the end of Victoria's reign in 1901. The reverse types were also changed at the same times.

Obverse:
Veiled bust of Victoria facing left, the engraver's initials T.B. are below the bust.
The obverse inscription reads:
VICTORIA DEI GRA BRITT REGINA FID DEF IND IMP

Reverse:
The reverse design consists of the value SIX PENCE in two lines surmounted by a crown, and within a wreath, with the date below.

The reverse legend reads:
SIX
PENCE
1900
