It has long been a traditional to issue official coronation medallions. These have variously been issued in gold, silver, copper, or bronze, and have also been issued in a number of sizes.

Obverse
The obverse features a profile portrait of George V facing left, with the inscription:
GEORGE V CROWNED JUNE 22 1911

Reverse
The reverse has a matching portrait, also facing left, of his wife, Queen Mary, and the inscription:-
QUEEN MARY JUNE 22 1911
