1940 Dunkirk Silver Medallion
The Britannia Commemorative Society issued their 13th medal or medallion to commemorate the evacuation of 338,226 men from the battle of Dunkirk in 1940.
The medallion sculptured by Geoffrey Colley shows two soldiers in a battlefield on the obverse. The reverse portrays the routes taken from Dunkirk to Dover during the evacuation process.
