Preston Guild - Churches Procession
This medallion, or medal if you wish, is that to commemorate the churches procession of the 1992 Guild celebration. The medallion plays homage to one church procession for all religions ("God Speaks To All") instead of separate church procession as seen prior to the 1972 Guild.
You will see that the medallion depicts the Harris Museum & Art Gallery. The museum plays a vital role in the celebration of The Guild. The Guild Mayor along with the rest of the civic members dressed in full regal attire proceed to the steps of the Harris Museum & Art Gallery to read the proclamation before officially starting the celebrations.

Obverse
The obverse shows a cross in front of a sunrise with the writing "God Speaks To All". There is also an insription around the cross reading:-

The reverse shows a magnificent view of The Harris Museum & Art Gallery
