1998 Canadian 8 Coin 125th Anniversary of RCMP Proof Set
The Royal Canadian Mint issued a Proof Coin Set containing eight proof coins to commemorate the 125th Anniversary of The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, La Gendarmerie Royale du Canada.

The Set
This set is finished to proof standard and is enclosed in an attractive book style cover. The coins themselves are contained in a perspex container, allowing sight of both the reverse and obverse. The set comes with a certificate detailing the specifications of the coins along with information on the coins themselves. There is also an anniversary leaflet providing information about The Royal Canadian Mounted Police and their history. Both of these pieces of literature are provided in Enlgish and French.
