2000 Australian Royal Visit Silver Proof Fifty Cents

The Royal Australian Mint issued a 50 cent silver proof coin to commemorate the visit to Australia in March 2000.

Proof Silver Fifty Cents
This fine silver proof coin is one of just 25,000 commemorative coins. Each of the limited legal tender coins is individually struck from a carefully prepared blank, producing a delicately frosted raised image complemented by a highly polished mirror-like background. The obverse displays the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley.
