Copyright theft is dishonest. We recommend you avoid doing business with dishonest dealers.
This particular eBay seller not only stole our 2008 Two Pound Olympic Handover Beijing London Silver Proof Coin
image, but failed to inform potential buyers that the coin in the photograph is not the one he owns, or that they will be bidding on. This is deception.
He does not state that his coin is a silver proof, or even a proof version, so it is probably the ordinary, common, circulation type, possibly not even in mint condition.
Price
He used a starting price of £2.99 for this listing, and we were surprised to see buyers queueing up to bid for it, with over 2 days to go, when they are almost certainly going to get nothing better than a coin from change The Royal Mint will sell a specimen version in an attractive package for only £6.99; and we sell it for slightly less.
Some (only some?) eBay buyers are as stupid as the sellers are dishonest.
