eBay Copyright Thieves
Many eBay vendors use our coin photographs to sell inferior quality coins on eBay. These eBay members are dishonest and should be avoided.
We believe eBay profits from IP rights infringements (copyright theft), and does so knowingly, only removing infringing items reluctantly, if at all.

What's Wrong?
We invest a great deal of time, effort, and cost into creating some of the best photographic coin images on the internet. We strongly object when lazy and dishonest people decide to use them without a by your leave or thanks, doing so in competition with us.
Copyright theft is dishonest. We recommend you avoid doing business with dishonest dealers.
This particular eBay seller not only stole our high quality copyright photograph of a 2007 Abolition of Slave Trade Two Pounds Coin, but failed to inform potential buyers that the coin in the photograph was not the one he owns, or that they will be bidding on. This is deception.
Sadly, it is also typical of eBay!
There is no mention in his description whether the coin is a silver proof, so there is probably no reason to think it is. It's most likely to be a circulated condition ordinary base metal version.
The coin in our photograph is of a silver proof version with selective gold plating.
By showing this photo he is potentially deceiving any and all possible bidders. It is also possible that he has deceived himself into thinking his coin looks like ours, or simply does not know the difference.

Price
He was asking a greedy and unrealistic Starting Price of £25 for his coin.
