We reproduce below an unsolicited "spam" e-mail of the type we receive almost every day.
Of course we have no proof that this particular scheme is not genuine, but...
Why does the sender not show his name, business name, address etc. in the letter?
Why does he not include a return e-mail address in the letter, even if it is only to allow the recipient to request removal from his e-mail list?
Why was the "To" field left blank, unless the message was "spam", i.e. unsolicited bulk e-mail?
Why did I never receive a reply to our request to be removed from his mailing list?
Why does the inconsiderate sender only give 2 telephone numbers by which to contact him?
Does he know or care that a non-US recipient has no way of contacting an American Freephone number?
If the respondents can earn $1,000 each time a prospect makes a purchase, how much is the prospect expected to spend?
How much profit, and what percentage, does the vendor make on each sale?
Is the sale represented as an investment?
