1980 Queen Mother's 80th Birthday Crown Collection
two coins the same in great condition bout 2 inch by 2 inch nice and heavy happy bidding
In 1980, to commemorate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother's 80th birthday, a number of countries issued silver proof crowns or crown sized coins.
The Queen Mother
Born on the 4th August 1900, Lady Elizabeth Angela Marguerite Bowes-Lyon was the 9th child of the 14th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne. In 1923 she married His Royal Highness, The Duke of York, and as Duchess of York undertook many public duties.
On the abdication of King Edward VIII in 1936, the Duke and Duchess of York became King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. Her courage during the war, her charm and devotion to duty help to explain why she is held in great affection by the public in the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.
Following the death of King George VI in 1952, Queen Elizabeth was accorded the title "Queen Mother" by her daughter Queen Elizabeth II who acceded to the throne in 1952.

What's Wrong?
We invest a great deal of time, effort, and cost into creating some of the best photographic coin images on the internet. We strongly object when lazy and dishonest people decide to use them without a by your leave or thanks, doing so in competition with us.
Copyright theft is dishonest. We recommend you avoid doing business with dishonest dealers.
This particular eBay seller not only stole our 1980 silver proof crown image, he has almost certainly deluded himself that his coin is identical condition to the one in our photograph. Our coin, and its photograph, is a silver proof coin, his very likely is only an ordinary circulation type. It's possible he is ignorant of such fine points as grading, or that his coin may or may not be in mint condition, as implied by the use of our photograph of a selected mint state specimen.
It is always possible, even likely, that sellers who steal photographs do not own a similar, and have the intention to defraud potential buyers.
The vendor is not only cheating us by stealing our copyright images, she is fraudulently or ignorantly misleading and deceiving all potential buyers. Gaining pecuniary advantage by deception is the definition of fraud.
He purports to be trustworthy by claiming "Bid with confidence check my feedback", but omits to say that he is dishonest enough to steal other people's hard work.
He could not be bothered to spell the name of our queen with a capital "E", but then the British education system seems to producing young adults who cannot read or write, and texting must also take its share of the blame. He did not even manage to spell Elizabeth correctly, despite the fact that he undoubtedly copied and pasted his internal listing title from the same web page of ours that he stole the pictures from, as it refers to a "Collection".

Price
The seller is asking a starting price of £5 for these coins, against their face value of £0.25 each.
