English Civil War Medallion Collection
In 1992, The Royal Mint issued a collection of medallions to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the English Civil War.
The series comprises a set of twelve medallions, each of 50 millimetres in diameter, an in bronze or sterling silver. The issue limit in bronze was 5,000 pieces of each, and in silver 2,500 each.
The sterling silver versions weigh approximately 83 grams each.

Obverse
Each medallion has a fine engraving of a different scene from the English Civil War, by one of a number of leading sculptors.

Reverse
The reverse of each medallion bears an inscription relating to the scene on the obverse.

Prices
These medallions were available from the Royal Mint in 1995 at about £80 each, making a total of about £1,000 for the complete collection.
We would be happy to accept £60 each for individual medallions, or £495 for the complete collection.
The superb box is included with the complete collection.
We feel this represents a wonderful bargain for the patient collector.
