70 British Monarchs Commemorated in Gold Plated Silver Medallions
A collection of 70 gold plated medallions in sterling silver. Each medallion is 21.6mms in diameter, and contains about 4.4 grams of gold plated Hallmarked Sterling Silver. The Obverse side of each shows the monarch's head, and the Reverse side shows the monarch's shield bearing their Coat of Arms.
In addition there is an attractive wooden box, with two trays, designed to hold the collection which would be included with a purchase of the collection.

Pattern Sovereigns?
In recent years, we have seen a large number of these individual medallions marketed on eBay by less than professional small dealers, often described as rare pattern gold sovereigns, in the hope that stupid, gullible or greedy buyers will pay silly money for them.
A genuine official pattern sovereign would be worth many thousands of pounds.
