The Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Crown 1999 is available in five different version:-
An ordinary uncirculated version which will be available from banks and post offices from July 1999.
A selected uncirculated Specimen version, in an attractive folder.
A Proof version contained in the 1999 Proof Coin Sets.
All the above are struck in cupro nickel.
In addition there are two precious metal versions, each of which comes with a small booklet showing photographic scenes from Diana's life.:-
The Silver Proof version which we illustrate on this page. It is packaged in plastic capsule which is housed in a royal blue velvet case.
