Victoria Young Head
There were three main obverse types for Queen Victoria, the Young Head, sometimes called bun head, was introduced in 1837. It continued until Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1887 when the Jubilee Head was introduced.

Obverse:
Young Head of Victoria facing left, the engraver's initials T.B. are below the bust.
The obverse inscription reads:
VICTORIA DEI GRA BRITTANIAR REG F D

Reverse:
The reverse design consists of the value SIX PENCE in two lines surmounted by a crown, and within a wreath, with the date below.
The reverse legend reads:
