The 'bun-head' style portrait of Queen Victoria used on the half-penny illustrated was unique to the bronze issues of Britain from 1860-1894. Many different varieties and sub-types of these issues exist, and the collection of all the different varieties could form the basis of an extensive collection in its own right.
