In 1977, for the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, seven countries, all members of the Commonwealth, co-operated to produce a set of coins to honour and commemorate the event.
The seven countries were Mauritius, Gibraltar, Jersey, Guernsey, St. Helena, Tristan da Cunha, and the United Kingdom.
