In 1999, Somalia issued a 25 shillings coin celebrating the tenth anniversary of the end of the Berlin Wall.

Obverse
Ther obverse of this coin features the coat of arms of Somalia, with the inscriptiom:
REPUBLIC OF SOMALIA
25 SHILLINGS

Reverse
On the reverse features is a scene showing crowds of people pouring through the wall and embracing long parted relatives, while on top of a broken portion of the wall, a man is shown demolishing the wall with a pick-axe, with the iscription:
