One Ounce Silver Bullion Coins
In 1986 the USA became the first country to issue a one ounce silver bullion coin, following the success of the one ounce gold Krugerrand released by South Africa in 1967.
Four Seasons 2001
In 2001 the US mint released a limited issue of coloured versions of the one ounce silver eagles.
Each of the four seasons is represented by a differently coloured Liberty and her seasonal attributes.
The silver version is limited to 5,000 sets.
