Dutch Euro Coin Sets

Netherlands Starts Using The Euro on January 1st 2002
Our first delivery of Netherlands Euro sets has arrived here, and we are now shipping from stock.
On new year's day 2002, Netherlands, like the other 11 members of the Eurozone, started using Euro notes and Euro coins for cash transactions. Within a few months, the old coins and banknotes in Guilders have been withdrawn. We have uncirculated sets of Euro coins from all of the twelve member countries available from stock, and are accepting orders now.
We can also supply Netherlands starter packs.
There are two designs chosen by The Netherlands, both of Queen Beatrix.

Eight Coins Per Set
All national Euro sets contain all 8 coin denominations unless otherwise stated.

Earlier Netherlands Euro Sets

2 Euro Queen Beatrix is shown in profile with the words "BEATRIX KONINGEN DER NEDERLANDEN" in Dutch, meaning "Beatrix Queen of The Netherlands". The 12 stars are confined to half the circumference of the coin.
1 Euro As for the 2 Euro except for their size and colour.
50 Euro Cents Queen Beatrix is shown in profile and the words "Beatrix Queen of The Netherlands" are written around the circumference of the coins.
20 Euro Cents As the 50 Cent. Note the 7 indents or scallops on the edge.
10 Euro Cents The obverse designs of the Dutch 50, 20 and 10, 2 and 1 Euro cents are identical apart from their size and the indents on the 20 cent.
5 Euro Cents The obverse designs of the Dutch 50, 20 and 10, 2 and 1 Euro cents are identical apart from their size and the indents on the 20 cent.
2 Euro Cents The obverse designs of the Dutch 50, 20 and 10, 2 and 1 Euro cents are identical apart from their size and the indents on the 20 cent.
1 Euro Cent The obverse designs of the Dutch 50, 20 and 10, 2 and 1 Euro cents are identical apart from their size and the indents on the 20 cent.

Packaging & Presentation
We now have stocks of our own unofficial Netherlands Euro coin sets. Currently, we only have mixed date sets, we are still working to obtain sets of all four possible different dates.
We expect to have uncirculated mint sets of coins from all 12 Euro zone countries in stock during January 2002. Our Dutch Euro sets are packaged in an attractive card within a 2-sided plastic case so that the coins can be viewed from both sides or removed if required. We have information about official issue mint or proof sets. All of the countries will issue uncirculated sets, but many will not issue proof sets.
