This coin was issued by The Perth Mint to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II.
"Dancing Man" Design
The reverse of the coin features a lenticular image, containing multiple frames of the 'dancing man' taken from newsreel footage. When you tilt the coin it produces a movie-like sequence showing him twirling and tipping his hat.
The obverse is the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
The coin is issued only as a proof and comes in a capsule, housed inside a newsreel themed tin. It comes with a newspaper themed certificate.
Issue Limit
The issue limit of the coins was 25,000.
