The 2015 silver proof issues have a new, nautical Britannia design. The proof Britannias are a different design to the 2015 bullion version.

Obverse
Fifth Portrait
On 2nd March, 2015, The Royal Mint unveiled a new effigy of the Queen designed by engraver Jody Clark. Whilst the 2015 bullion Britannias feature the fourth portrait of the Queen on the obverse, the 2015 proof Britannias feature the new, fifth portrait.

Reverse
The reverse of the 2015 proof Britannia was designed by artist, Antony Dufort, who also designed the 2015 Definitive Britannia £2 Coin. It features a contemporary Britannia, bringing her into the new era. The design has a nautical theme, with a ship sailing in the background,
