321fantana in eBay Copyright Theft
321fantana of Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom, eBay cheat used our 1981 Charles & Diana Silver Proof Crown Reverse Photograph without permission to sell his own coin, which was almost certainly not in near mint condition as shown in our photo, and almost certainly not a silver proof.

High eBay Feedback is No Guarantee of Integrity or Honesty

eBay Copyright Thieves
Many eBay vendors use our coin photographs to sell inferior quality coins on eBay. These eBay members are dishonest and should be avoided.
We believe eBay profits from IP rights infringements (copyright theft), and does so knowingly, only removing infringing items reluctantly, if at all.

What's Wrong?
We invest a great deal of time, effort, and cost into creating some of the best photographic coin images on the internet. We strongly object when lazy and dishonest people decide to use them without a by your leave or thanks, doing so in competition with us.
Copyright theft is dishonest. We recommend you avoid doing business with dishonest dealers.
This particular eBay seller not only stole our high quality copyright photograph of a silver proof version of this coin, but failed to inform potential buyers that the coin in the photograph was not the one he owns, or that they will be bidding on. This is deception.
Sadly, it is also typical of eBay!
321fantana listed this under the category "Coins Coins British Decimal Coinage (c.1971-Now) Five Pounds". This is also misleading and deceptive. The coin is a 25 pence crown. 321fantana could have discovered this for himself if he had bothered to read the relevant pages of our website. Isn't is strange how eBay sellers can turn 25 pence coins into £5 coins, but they hardly ever make the same mistake the other way round!

Price
He used a starting price of £7.50.
While this would be cheap for a silver proof, it is expensive for an ordinary version, even if still in mint condition (our asking price is only £1.75, so this eBay vendor was asking 4 times our price).
