A history of small change in Scotland.

A "flyer" for this book arrived in the post the day after I got out from
our bookshelves "The Scottish Coinage" by Stewart, a book which I first read
about 30 years ago. Even from the flyer the book sounded good.
For those who have ever tried to find general or background information
about any specialised subject, you will know just how difficult it can be to
find. The arrival therefore of a new book about Scottish coins is to be welcomed.
Its 112 pages provide a very readable and interesting review of the history
and background of Scotland's very own coinage. It is amply illustrated
with photographs of actual coins.
It will be an essential book for all with an interest in the coinage
of Scotland. Even for non-collectors there is much of interest within its pages.
Very reasonably priced, (the Scots are known to be careful with their money!) at
£5.99
