Reverse of 2006 Canadian Half Ounce Silver Wolf

Following the success of the one ounce silver maple leaf coin, the Royal Canadian Mint has started to produce a half ounce silver bullion coin.
As with the 1 ounce silver maples, the half ounce wolves are struck in fine silver with a purity of 99.99%.
The concept of the half ounce bullion coin remains to provide an easy way to purchase convenient small quantities of bullion silver in the form of coins.
Additionally, the new half ounce coins, are an attractive design, made to appeal to collectors.
The denomination, or face value, is one dollar Canadian.

The 2006 Wolf design will be the first in a series of new ½ Ounce Silver designs.
The half ounce Silver Bullion was designed by artist and Royal Canadian Mint Engraver William Woodruff.
The design features a lone Eastern Timber Wolf standing on a hill on a full moon winter night.

In 2011, we bought a one ounce silver wolf, with a face value of five dollars, it is part of the Canadian Wildlife Series.
