East Caribbean States
The East Caribbean States were formed by Barbados, Leeward Islands, and Windward Islands in 1965 after the break-up of the former British Caribbean Territories (Eastern Branch). Coins were issued as East Caribbean Territories from 1980 to 1981 inclusive. Barbados withdrew and started issuing its own coins in 1973.
From 1981 it became the East Caribbean States.
