A Medallion With A Blackpool Connection
A medallion struck from a copper bolt of Nelson’s flagship Foudroyant
We have only ever seen one of these very small and crudely made medallions. Unforunately the ring has been soldered on at a poor angle so that the Foudroyant appears to be sailing uphill, and the reverse inscription also slopes. Even so we feel it deserves its own page on our website.
