Actually we don't know what the gentleman had been doing. A few moments previously the police officer was talking to him in the same spot. The next thing we knew, the drinker had been wrestled to the ground and was being handcuffed. At that stage, he had managed to keep hold of his beer can, and had not lost too much of it, but eventually he had to let go of it, and had his free arm handcuffed, followed by having his pockets searched.
