James I 1603-1625 Second Coinage 1604-1619
Featured is a Gold Crown of James I (VI of Scotland). Struck between 1615-1616 (Tun mintmark). James united the Crowns of England and Scotland, and sought to unite the two Kingdoms politically. This is reflected in both the obverse and reverse legends.

Third bust of king facing right, Decorated Armour, mintmark tun.
