164 - 182 AD
Lucilla was the eldest daughter of the emperor Marcus Aurelius and Faustina Junior. She married Lucius Verus and gained the title Augusta. After his death she married Tiberius Claudius Pompeianus. She is also rumoured to have had an incestuous relationship with her brother Commodus, who was by that time emperor, but is suspected of having plotted against him, and was banished to Capri in 182, and shortly afterwards, in 183, put to death.
All her coins are likely to be from the period 164 - 169.
