Amicitia Medallion in 18 Carat Gold
Amicitia Medallion in 18 Carat Gold
Amicitia is Latin for friendship.
This is the only example of this medallion we have seen, but we deduce that it was issued by the Lions Club International, presumably as a "lodge" medallion, worn by the chairman or some other official, or it may have been presented in honour of services performed. We don't know for certain.
The small blue attached plaque features a gold letter "L" on a blue enamel background, with 2 small diamonds at the sides.
If anybody reading this has more information, we would be happy if you would inform us further.
