Mounted Gold World Coins
Kruger ponds, American half eagles, and other world coins were often worn on watch chains. Numerous coins still survive from those days. Usually the mount was individually hand made in a scroll design, and was soldered directly onto the coin, as in our photographs.
They later became popular for ladies to wear as pendants or charms.
