In 2006, the United States Mint issued a silver dollar to commemorate the survival of the San Francisco Old Mint building in the great earthquake and fire of 1906.

The reverse features an eagle, its wings spread, arrows and a laurel branch in its talons, within a wreath, with the inscriptions:
