Variations - Multiple Refiners
Even within one make of bar, it is possible to find wide variations in design. These are often because of the named refiner using a sub-contractor, often the bar bears the name of a well-known bank, but the bank has obviously had a batch of bars made by a specialist refiner. This could be a bonus for the collector, as it will bear marks from two different refiners, or occasionally three.

New & With Certificate
Most of the silver bars we handle are secondhand and sold "as is". We have bought a half tonne of this particular make of bar. They are new, and come complete with a serial number and a matching certificate.
Please note that all silver tones, or tarnishes depending on your choice of adjective. This is not detrimental to the bars. If you wish to keep them bright and shiny, we suggest you use Goddards Silver Dip. If you prefer to allow them to tone, this can add to their attraction. It is a matter of persoanl taste. Our bars, though new, may display varying degrees of toning.
