1922 Copper Medallion
The last Guild Merchant celebrated before WWII was under the Mayor Henry Astley-Bell and his wife Mayoress Mabel. Both can be seen on the obverse of this years medallion.
The reverse of the medallion shows a green mark which has resulted from verdi-gris.

Obverse
The obverse shows conjoined portraits of the Mayor & Mayoress of Preston.

Reverse
The reverse shows the Paschal Lamb with cross staff and initial PP. There is also "The Ribble" at the bottom of the medallion and "Spink Lon" below the date 1922.
