2003 East Caribbean States - First Lord Robert Clive Gold Plated Piedfort Two Dollars

Robert Clive travelled to India in 1743 as a clerk for the British East India Company and a year later entered the company's military arm , soon distinguishing himself as a brave soldier and accomplished tactician in the fighting against the French.
The First Lord Robert Clive was involved in two Significant Battles:

Siege of Trichinopoly (1752)

Plassey (1757)

Sir Winston Churchill was born at Blenheim Palace and educated at Harrow, then Sandhurst. His early military career included service with the Nile Expeditionary force (1898), where he fought hand-to-hand against the Dervishes.
Sir Winston Churchill was involved in four Significant Events:

Prime Minister (1940, 1951)

Battle of Britain (July-Oct 1940)

Yalta Conference (1945)

Nobel Peace Prize (1953)
