You can now pay homage to the heritage of Britain and to London 2012 with the Celebration of Britain Silver Series which captures the Mind, Body and Spirit of the nation. This is the first ever collection of UK £5 legal tender coins from the Royal Mint and is available as an 18-coin collection, three 6-coin collections or as 18 individual coins. The collection is divided into three series - The Mind Series, The Body Series and The Spirit Series. Each coin is struck in sterling silver to Proof quality and features specially commissioned reverse designs, created by Shane Greeves in conjunction with the Royal Mint Engraving Team, celebrating a particular aspect of Britain's greatness.
An informative and illustrated Storycard accompanies each coin which will be issued one per month commencing in June 2009 through to the end of 2010. This is a magnificent collection that you can keep forever to remember the passion of London 2012 and is the perfect way to capture the spirit of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
