The Best of Britain Collection features 18 commemorative silver proof crowns, each one celebrating what makes Britain special.
Presentation
We recently bought in this set, which has the coins presented in a black case. It comes with all 18 information certificates that were issued with each coin, as well as three Royal Mint postcards, a certificate of authenticity for the set, and 16 page information booklet.
The set is divided into three series - mind, body and spirit - consisting of 6 coins each.
Price
The Royal Mint issued the coins at £54.95 each, with the first coin being half price - a total of £962. The 2014 Spink price is £1650, which we think is shockingly high - it's almost £92 per coin! At our price of £895, you will be saving £67 on the issue price.
We are selling the set unboxed for £875.
