For this ring, we took a green princess cut diamond, and claw set it as a solitaire ring, but with two white diamonds on each shoulder, using an 18 carat yellow gold mount.
We could have created the ring without the shoulder diamonds, or could have tried a white centre diamond, coloured shoulder stones, or any of a number of other combinations.

Green Diamonds
You may be surprised to hear that green diamonds exist. You can learn more about them, and other fancy coloured diamonds on some of the other pages of our website.
Naturally occurring green diamonds are very rare and expensive. The green diamond in this ring is a real natural diamond which has had its colour enhanced. Even as an enhanced stone, it is still rare and also very beautiful, in our opinion. Not just any diamond can have its colour enhanced, and the results can be quite variable, making it even more difficult when we have to find or sort matching sets of stones.

Natural Green Diamonds
Perhaps the thought of enhanced coloured diamonds fails to appeal to you, and you would prefer natural green ones. If so, then add one or two zeros to our price, and we will try to source a set of matching green diamonds for you, but please be prepared to wait a few years as they are extremely rare indeed. Even then, we may not be able to find a perfectly matched set, or the colour may be less intense. If you like the idea of a green diamond ring, and you like this particular ring, our advice would be to buy it while it is available.
